Artwork Description"Placid Graze" is a combination of fragmented abstract gestural marks, stains and interwoven diaristic text create a palimpsest for a faint, resurfaced memory. A subtle underlying grid creates tension with the man made and the organic. Referencing construction and de-construction, this splintered drawn history calls for the viewer to reconstruct this fleeting moment, mimicking the way our brains operate throughout the memory process.
