Alfreda Carol Green

The artist is 70 years old the mother of four, a grandmother to eight, as well as a great-grandmother to ten. She has an associate's degree in commercial art from Boise Idaho and a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology from U.C. Fresno as well as a certificate in drafting for Tampa. "As you can see I don't know what I'll be when I grow up," says the artist, "I have won various awards and I am mostly self taught. I don't like to show any artwork I'm not happy with. The piece is a mixture of ink, watercolor, and acrylic that have all been blended into a fantasy of characters hidden within a tree the artist says to the viewer, "You may have to look closely. Can you see them?"
