Ron Yrabedra

Ron Yrabedra retired in May 2008 as Professor of Art Education at Florida A&M University, a position he held for the past 34 years. He is currently devoting full time to his art, painting, drawing, and making ceramics. The public is invited to visit his studio at 636 Railroad Square or call him at 222-0121.

Artwork Description

Ron has been painting the palm as "the tree of life" for over 30 years. With overtones of ancient painting from the Mediterranean, the work also depicts life in Florida … a golden age. It symbolizes the constant change in life.
