DeDe Harter is an interdisciplinary artist based in Tallahassee. She teaches Art at Valdosta State University and holds a BFA and MFA degree in Art. Artwork Description

The artist states, "The imagery in this quilt depicts a Northern winter scene after a snowfall, one of my favorite times to take a walk. The blanket of snow creates an incredible cushioning of ambient sounds and mutes all intruding noise into a soft peaceful experience … kind of like being under a favorite quilt on a cold morning".
