Nathan Illig

Art is therapy for Nathan; it is how he gets his demons out. His art is after a style he began in high school-rather violent, harsh, strange, and graphic. He had two pieces of art in Artopia 2007, as well as a Best of Show at All Saints Café and Crank it Up. Nathan plans to have several more shows again this year.

This painting is a memory of a night on shrooms. "As the silo sighed in, we found ourselves knee deep in our own shadows and the cigarettes weren't nearly long enough".
