natural actor, L.A. Hardy has been seen on MTV, VH1, ABC's "According to Jim," and Voice credits in the movie "Guess Who" with Bernie Mac, standup on BET's ComicView, Indie films such as "China Dolls," "Footsteps," "The Good Fight," "The Last Angry Black Man" and in '08 "Universal Remote" with Charlie Murphy. Additional appearances include national commercials for the Blimpie, NFL, Sears, The Sylvan Learning Center, Capital One Credit Card, Febreze, in the reality show "The Glutton Bowl" (the referee) and the music video "1985" with Bowling for Soup (the mailman). L.A. has a face you've seen before and want to see again.
He has performed stand-up comedy for the U.S. Military and was among the first of a group of comedians to perform in Iraq in August/September 2003. In 2004 he traveled and entertained the troops in Afghanistan. Since 1994, he has headlined tours worldwide for the USO, The U.S. Department of Defense, Comics on Duty, and AKA Productions. He has also appeared in national Dockers "Nice Pants" print advertisements and continues to perform voiceovers.
L.A.'s comedy is reality based about events that have taken place in his life or could happen in yours. A young dad with a strong family base of operations in Las Vegas and Los Angeles, he headlines regularly at clubs, colleges, corporate events and cruise ships.
