Calling All Volunteers!

E ARE HAPPY TO SHARE the many wonderful volunteer opportunities for you to participate in this Spring and throughout the year! Let us know what you would be interested in doing so that we can get you set up.
Here is some general information on opportunities that are coming up … more details will be available in the near future. More opportunities will be added as they come available!
WFSU Membership Drive: Thursday, March 26
- Volunteers are needed to cover the phones during pledge drive
- 6 a.m. - 8 a.m. — 2 volunteers needed
- 8a.m. -10 a.m. — 3volunteers needed
- 10 a.m. - Noon — 3 volunteers needed
- Noon -2 p.m. — 3 volunteers needed
- 2 p.m. - 4.p.m. — 3 volunteers needed
- 4 p.m. -6 p.m. — 1 voluntees needed
11th Annual Artopia Art Auction: June 20
- One of our largest and most exciting fundraisers
- Volunteers are needed to assist with set-up, policing the art, preparing food, serving food, processing bid sheets, etc. Artists needed to donate up to 3 of their works; all media accepted.
Macy's Shop for a Cause:
- Fall … exact date TBA
- Volunteers are needed to help sell discount tickets at Macy's
- There will be two shifts (9 a.m. - 1 p.m. & 1 p.m. -5 p.m.).
AIDS Walk: October 18
Volunteers are needed to assist with registration, food & water stations, t-shirt table, holding signs, directing traffic, etc. Groups and individuals needed to raise sponsorship and participate in the Walk.
Holiday Angels: November and December
- Volunteers (individuals, families and groups) needed to adopt families and provide children's gifts for the holiday season!
- Volunteers needed to assist with organizing and wrapping of gifts
Food Bags:
Groups and individuals needed for the following dates to help stuff food bags
- September 5, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
- October 3, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
- November 7, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
- December 5, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
